MEALS OF SMILES

Kicked-off in 2019, the “Meals of Smiles” program aims to enhance infant and child nutrition across the country. GREENFEED has been striving towards the

target of 2 million meals by the end of 2022, 3 million meals in 2024, and above all, to ensure every child has the best possible start in life.

The kids love meatballs and spring rolls because they don’t have much access to such food. Thanks to the program’s support, their daily meals have become more decent and nutritious. I also have more time to help them develop knowledge and life skills. Sister Teresa Phan Thi Nhan,Deputy Director of Thien Binh Shelter

EMPOWERING FARMERS

Launched in 2010, the program “Empowering Farmers” of GREENFEED, in partnership with Tuoi Tre Newspaper, has enabled thousands of rural women to afford a better livelihood. The program

not only helps women relieve their financial stress, but also provides them knowledge and skills for livestock healthcare through training sessions with GREENFEED experts.

Due to impacts of the pandemic, we haveto find a new way to maintain our livelihoods. We decided to start a new business: crop raising and frog farming. In the beginning, we were very concerned about our lack of know-hows and resources. Fortunately, the “Empowering Farmers” program reached our province at that time and provided us with full supporting packages of resources, feed for frogs and farming techniques training. Thus, our business model was established and has been in good shape. Ms. Nguyen Thi Mai (Dong Thap)

SHARING GOODNESS TO

As soon as the pandemic broke out again, we quickly coordinated with many social organizations and businesses across the country, promptly deploying programs to support local authorities and citizens. During the most challenging times, when we were facing a food shortage, it was the support from GREENFEED that provided us access to sources of healthy food to prepare safe, tasty meals for citizens. The joy in people upon receiving the meals served as our inspiration to keep going on this meaningful journey. Ho Chi Minh City Communist Youth Union
