FOREWORD FROM THE CHAIRMAN

Dear Shareholders,
Customers and Partners,

2021 marked an ever-challenging period for the economy in general and the manufacturing industry in particular. Disrupted global supply chain, changing consumer behavior and unpredictable climate change posed unprecedented challenges to many businesses.

In light of this, we realized that sustainability is the foundation for GREENFEED to proactively build resilience in times of volatility, deliver solid business performance, and at the same time share long-term values with the community.

Through the 2021 Sustainability Report, we would like to look back on memorable milestones with our Shareholders, Customers and Partners, to express our gratitude for your trust and unwavering support.

Proactively building resilience in times of volatility, the Group conducted a thorough review to finalize the sustainability governance model according to international frameworks. We focus on investing resources in materiality issues over business areas, including: Ensuring economic efficiency and sustainable supply chain, Investing in people development, Promoting comprehensive digital transformation, Applying science and technology in ensuring product quality, Conserving the environment and responding to climate change, and most importantly Sharing values with the community and society.

With relentless efforts in providing nutritious, delicious and high-quality food to consumers, the Group has received recognition from international partners, namely an investment of VND 1,000 billion through bonds from International Finance Corporation (IFC) to support the Group to develop efficiently and sustainably, contributing to improving livestock production practices in Vietnam.

Leveraging this momentum, we are excited to enter a new era with a new strategy, at the same time continue to implement medium and long-term sustainability objectives and targets that have been set. In the period of 2022 - 2025, towards 2030 vision, GREENFEED will focus on improving and perfecting the business model and circular agricultural ecosystem, being adaptive to climate change, and contributing to food security.

In order to successfully implement the committed goals, we trust in and continue to strengthen our collaboration with the business community, and governmental agencies. In doing so, we contribute to the achievement of the 17 SDGs of the UN, the Paris Climate Agreement, and promote regenerative agricultural and circular economy practices on a national level.

On this meaningful journey, GREENFEED wants to continue to receive your support and great companion to realize green transformation goals committed to our Shareholders, Investors, Customers, Employees, Regulatory Authority and Community. Sustainability is no longer a choice, but the only right way for us to contribute to establishing a more sustainable future for the next generation.

Regards,

Mr. Ly Anh Dung, Chairman
