Those are the words shared by Mrs. Gioi in Hanoi when evaluating the product quality and customer service of GREENFEED company after many years of cooperation.

Minh Phu commune (Soc Son district, Hanoi) has nearly 3,000 hectares of natural land, three-quarters of the area are hills and forests, therefore this place is considered the optimal location for raising chickens in the semi free-range form.

Among the effective livestock farming households, there is a noticeable chicken farm raising Lai Ho and Lai Mia chicken breeds, owned by Mrs. Gioi. At the grazing land, she planned the area for growing pomelos and oranges to create extra income, whilst providing shade for the chickens. Deep into the farm are rows of barns, one side specializes in brooding newly imported chicks, the other rows are used to raise mature chickens and broilers. With this approach, her farm maintains the number of 3,000 – 4,000 chickens, of all different ages from chicks to mature chickens.

Mrs. Gioi said, the reason why she chose to raise Lai Ho and Lai Mia chickens, firstly because of the high meat quality, soft sweetness when cooked, little subcutaneous fat, moreover this breed is resistant to diseases, trader demand is high because it is favored by the market.

To improve the quality of products sold, as well as build a reputation not only for herself but also for the brand name of Soc Son hill chicken, Mrs. Gioi selected breeds from reputable production facilities, ensuring quality and source. Depending on the market, the price of each chick usually ranges from VND 12,000 to 15,000. Regarding poultry feed, she has trusted and used GREENFEED brand for 3 years; the time from stocking to the date of sale takes about 3.5 months; broiler chicken will then weigh from 2.3 to 2.5 kg/chicken. Each year she rotates 4 broods and is expected this year she will expand the barn, increase the herd to supply more broiler chickens to the market, bringing the current threshold to 10,000 – 12,000 chickens.
