Less is more as sharing is caring

In the past 2 years, G Kitchen’s journey of delivering Meals of Smiles has brought safe, tasty, genuine products to children in need in all parts of the country, making their meals more nutritious and complete. This Tet, the Meals of Smiles bus gives life to “Less is More as Sharing is Caring” program at 4 orphanages: Phuc Lam, Hoa Hong Nho, Thu Duc Youth Village and Go Vap SOS Village, with many interesting activities: Preparing Tet traditional trays, decorating five-fruit trays, wrapping banh chung, banh tet and fun folk games.

The challenge of cooking a Tet traditional tray from G Kitchen’s “25 delicious Tet menu” did not make it difficult for our “junior chefs”. The children, with aide from their “mothers”, quickly prepared vegetables, sliced up pork sausages, prepared delicious dipping sauce and cooked pots of braised pork. As the warm glow of the fire lingered with the smell of delicious food, the children were happy, gathered in the kitchen behind the house or played together in the yard, Tet is really coming so close.

“Today’s hearty New Year’s meal is a wonderful memory that will never fade in our minds. Thank you to this lovable village, mothers, aunts, benefactors, for taking care, loving us children in difficult circumstances and give us a better life” – Nguyen Tran Hong Phuc at Thu Duc Youth Village shared. As warm smiles were seen on the children’s and GREENFEED’s volunteers’ faces, G Kitchen believed that these loves would be the luggage that will accompany the children to grow and become responsible citizens for society.

With a commitment to accompany the development of future generations through improving the quality of daily meals, G Kitchen’s Meals of Smiles program will continue to bring safe and tasty products from GREENFEED’s 3F Plus food chain to more Vietnamese children, aiming to reach 1,000,000 meals in the first 3 years of the program.
